DATE:
Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10:00am-5:00 pm
Set up may begin at 7:00am and all vehicles must be off the street by 9:30 am.
LOCATION:
The 200 block of S. Cedar street and continuing North for as far as we need space in Downtown Manistique, Michigan.
There will be no rain site, come prepared for all weather. Wind can be a factor.
DISPLAY:
Artists shall limit their display to the size of a parallel parking space, approximately 20 feet by10 feet. Spaces are pre-assigned by the show committee and you will be notified of your acceptance as a participant and provided a map.
ELIGIBILITY:
Work crafted by the applying artist. COMMERCIAL ITEMS are welcome and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Please contact Connie Diller 906-341-5010 for more information.
ENTRY:
Participation is on a first come first serve basis. Return post mark will determine order of entries. Fill out the attached entry form and return it as soon as possible along with your $50 fee (made out to: Folkfest 2013) and a self addressed stamped envelope for your booth assigned space notification. Notification will be mailed out no later than June 26, 2013 (will accept applications up to June 25, 2013)
LIABILITY:
Completion and submission of the attached application indicates your understanding and agreement that the Folkfest Committee assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to any work or display or personal property.
SALES:
All sales to be transacted by the artist. All proceeds go to the artist. Each artist is responsible for the collection of 6% Michigan sales tax. Payments made directly to the government authorities.
